Welded joints are crucial for the safe operation of structures, products, and tanks produced by butt welding with a heated element.

To ensure the quality of our products, we carried out a technological bending test of the welded joint of ROSTR® PP-B sheets together with experts from NAKS (National Agency for Welding Control).

The NAKS laboratory (National Agency for Welding Control) confirmed the strength and reliability of the welded joints of ROSTR® PP-B sheets.

Test preparation

In accordance with the requirements of GOST R 55142-2012 / DVS 2203-5, 6 samples of welded joints were used in the test. They were made of ROSTR® PP-B sheet by welding with a heated tool on our sheet welding machine Ingenia.

Test results

  1. Welded joints of ROSTR® PP-B sheets passed the static bending test in accordance with GOST R 55142-2012.
  2. The welded joints of our ROSTR® PP-B sheets exceeded the minimum punch movement required by GOST R 55142-2012 by 3 times. The calculated movement of the punch for our sheet at a speed of 20 mm / s was 60.2 mm.
