polypropylene homopolymer
Monolithic single-layer ROSTR® polypropylene sheet extruded from polypropylene homopolymer PP-H, is one of the basic construction materials with excellent performance characteristics and a wide range of applications.
ROSTR® PP-H sheet is a strong, rigid and corrosion-resistant material with high chemical resistance at extremely high temperatures up to 100 ° C.
But at low temperatures, ROSTR® PP-H sheets become breakable and prone to crack spreading (in contrast to ROSTR® PP-B sheets, which retain their performance properties at low temperatures).

Product range
- Operating temperature range from 0 °С up to +100 °С.
- Ability to maintain its operational properties (strength, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance) under the influence of various environments at constantly high temperatures and repeated heating.
- Very high heat resistance and Permanent-heat stability.
- High rigidity in upper temperature range.
- High stiffness in upper temperature range.
- But at low temperatures it is very breakable and prone to cracking, compared with the elastic at low temperatures polypropylene block copolymer PP-B.
- High tensile strength.
- Superior impact resistance.
- High rigidity.
- High flexural strength.
- Abrasion resistance (sand, waves).
- High wear resistance.
- High water impermeability.
- Vapor impermeability.
- Not susceptible to biological corrosion.
- Does not react to microorganisms.
- Non-toxic.
- Does not produce harmful fumes.
- Does not affect the organoleptic properties of water or food.
- Does not have negative effect on health, ability to work or life expectancy.
- Environmentally friendly in production, transport, installation and operation.
- High chemical resistance: resistant to most acids, alkalis and solvents. At high temperatures - to alkalis, acids, salt solutions, vegetable and mineral oils; at room temperature - to organic solvents, more sensitive to hydrolysis in hot water than polypropylene block copolymer.
- High chemical and corrosion resistance.
- Resistance to oxidation, but lower oxidation resistance compared to polypropylene block copolymer. Oxidation is also called degradation or aging. Usually, the thermomechanical (during processing) and thermooxidative (product operation) destruction of the polymer material are considered separately.
- Good chemical resistance when in contact with detergents, cleaning agents and disinfectants.
- Excellent resistance to aggressive seawater environment.
- Absolute safety even in aggressive chemical environments, at high thermal, static and dynamic loads, under intense UV radiation (using a special UV additive).
- Resistant to hydrolysis and superheated steam.
- Electrical conductivity: good electrical insulation properties.
- Does not conduct electrical current. It acquires its electrically conductive capacity by adding special additives.
- Flammability class - G4 according to GOST 30244.
- Fire-resistance increases with the addition of antipyrene.
- Smoke-forming ability - D3 according to GOST 12.1.044.
- Ignitability class - B2 according to GOST 30402.
- Toxicity class - T4 according to GOST 12.1.044.
